  • SKU 14L012-001.  The D'Orsay used to be the train station bringing people to Paris from the south.  It lay empty a very long, time in horrid disrepair, and the city revived it and made it a wonderful museum of modern art.  Open on Armistice Day 11/11 for free.

  • SKU 13L18-001 Monet's pond in Giverny is well worth the trip there. You arrive in giverny by train and it is a very charming town.  I want to get in at sunrise or sunset.  Friends have talked to lanscapers and gotten in early.

  • 14L011-001 This is one of my favorite churches in Paris.  The sculpted stone is wonderful.  In the back there is a collection of period stain glass that is sumptuous.  It was in this church shooting that I started the retinal tear on a Good Friday.

  • SKU 14L001-001. Le Penseur, The Thinker.  In the garden of the studio where Auguste Rodin had his studio in Paris. I had been behind the windows shown here and  looked up, and noticed a door with a trash chute where they were doing construction.  When I got upstairs, I saw the door and opened it to get this unusual view.
